Tiger dies, only 10 left in MP national park

A 12-year-old tiger died of renal failure at Van Vihar National Park in Bhopal, officials said on Saturday.

The big cat, 'Sagar', had not been keeping well for over a fortnight. "Sagar was not well since last fortnight and died of renal failure yesterday", said Park Assistant Director A K Khare.

The tiger was brought to the park from a circus in Jaipur in 2006.

With the death of Sagar, ten big cats are left in the park, officials said.
